Yamaha Best Buy Models?

I noticed at BestBuy they have Yamaha receiver models such as 810W, 780W, etc. I guess I'm blind but I can't find these on Yamaha's web site. Are these retailer specific models and are they decent?

you kind of asked this question in your other post and to answer you if you kept on reading you would of noticed that its the wattage which is repersented by the W and the model number is lower in the description. They are in fact the yamaha htr's series and yes they are good just less bells and whistles!!

Duh, I feel stupid. Then again BestBuy should put the model number in the header and not the wattage.

If you are looking at Yamaha's, I would suggest checking out Tweaters special they have until end of month. They are offering the RX-V2500 for $499. Yamaha's site still list it at MSRP of 1099. I believe you can find it normally for 799 at Tweaters.

I picked one up. Great receiver, lots of power, and GUI set up. Only down side is no HDMI which I don't consider a big deal.
