I received an AVC-50 amd Yamaha power amp as a "gift" but no remote for the AVC-50. The unit plays fine but the -20db light near the volume knob is on. Is there a way to turn it off thereby re-setting the gain without using a remote? I can obtain a remote but wanted to hear the amp run with some muscle before the remote shows up. It could be the -20db light is for the small buit in amp of the AVC-50 but I'd still like to turn it off.
