Yamaha 301/501/701/801 / Onkyo tx-nr686 AVR which is better?

I need advice on what would be the best, stereo amplifier with choice between A-301/A-S501/A-S701/A-S801 or stereo receiver Onkyo tx-nr686 ?
my stereo set up is :

LSIM 707 (2pc)

• frequency response 38-30,000 Hz (-3dB)
• handles 20-300 watts
• sensitivity 88 dB
• 8-ohm impedance

I am driven mostly by the audio quality i always watching live music of U2/Quee/Bo Jovi etc. in youtube using my smart tv im my living room.
The size of my living room is 12 x 18 ft
Any help much appreciated.

A-S801 is something like an avr derived integrated amp but it does not have HDMI connections. Unless you have good use for it's USB DAC feature, you are better off with the HDMI equipped Onkyo TX-NR686. It is not a stereo receiver, it is a 7.1 AVR. So if you are open to AVRs, for $599, the Denon AVR-X3400H is a better value, and has preamp outputs that allows you to add an external power amp to your system if it becomes necessary.
