Yamaha 2700 vs 4600

What are the real differences between the yamaha 2700 and 4600 receivers? They seem so similar but there must be something.

The 2700 is roughly one year newer and has Ipod connectivity, XM radio, and as I recall a bit more power.

The 2700 does have many more features and listed power (10 watts more) but is not THX certified...
