Yamaha 2500 and Energy RC-LCRs

I think I have the bug???
I was wondering if I used the pre-out from my 2500 to a seperate amp would it make a noticable difference in the sound of my LCRs? Not that I am not very happy with what I am hearing now but can I get happier??(without drugs I mean)

Hi Frank

the Bug is real, it's the money that's a problem. I think you are only using 5 channels in your set up now? If this is the case I wouldn't splurge on the extra power. The RC LCR's are efficient and the Yamaha has adequate power to drive them. Then again some will say more power!! I would agree if they were the RC 70'S or RC 50'S.
