i was looking for the best sub for me for a long time and finally i came to BK electronics
and when't for the XXLS400 but it has 2 connections a high level (never used it) and low level normal cable i have a QED performance cable but how is the high level better than low or do you use them both
and how do you connect it because i have a feeling i'm doing it wrong

Use the low level input connected to the LFE/sub out on the Yamaha.

why not the high or both ?
Absolutely not both that could well cause damage.

Subs are designed to work primarily from a line output, which is what the LFE/sub out is. The high level speaker input are just for those that don't have a line out available. The high/speaker connections are a poor connection compared to a line out.
