XPR-2 | 600W x 2 | Emotiva Audio | High-end audio components for audiophiles and videophiles, spanning 2-channel music systems, as well as 5.1 and 7.1 home theaters. Products include multichannel amplifiers, stereo amplifiers, and monoblock amplifier

I have 2 xpa2's that are 300w x 2 I can not imagine needing more power than that, but if you do this would be the baby....

The also added an xpr1 at 1000 watt mono block, for $1200 or so.. I don't know of many speakers with a rec power up to 1000w??? actually I can only think of a handfull of 500w {polk rti a9 were 500 I believe, epos encore 50's are 600...}...

I wouldnt mind having one of them xpr2s with a pair of opus 2-3 towers though...

I do like the looks of those. I just don't like the height of them (well, or the company...but that's an old and tired story). I think that the XPR-5 would be a better deal, though, because it can provide five channels of power, or two channels with nearly the same power as the XPR-2.

I wonder how well the XPR-2 would push Gene's new Status Acoustics? Sounds to me like he's the guy to do a full review on this amp since he's definitely got the speakers that can handle gobs of power.
