XM and amp connection...jacks.

I'm curious to know if it matters which audio jack (RCA) in the back of my receiver (RX-V2400) I would connect a portable XM Roady radio unit. I have MD/Tape, CD-r, and phono jacks free, and I've been using the MD/Tape jacks for sometime now. My question is does it matter sound wise if I use any one of these free jacks? Will the sound be different using one specific RCA jacks from the other? I guess there must be a purpose, besides ease, why they label certain devices to be connected to specific jacks, no? Maybe its time these new receivers started coming out with dedicated XM radio jacks. Help.. anyone??

That's the one I'd pick. Anything but phono is fine, unless you need it for something else or you are already connected to that input via it digital equivalent... On some receivers you can route anything anywhere, on others you're stuck.

Thanks Hawke for your response, and for my piece of mind! :)
