XLR and Speakon Help

I am getting ready to buy all the proper cables needed for the connection of my new Behringer INuke 3000 DSP.

It will be running 2 of my new DIY 15" Ultimax Subs at a 4 ohm load per 15" woofer.

Based on my research I can just by simple RCA to XLR Cable to send the signal from my receiver to my Behringer Amp.

For only $5.70 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 10ft Premier Series XLR Male to RCA Male 16AWG Cable (Gold Plated)

Then to connect my sub to the outputs I can do something like this from Part Express and just connect a standard speaker cable on one end to my Amp outputs and then a standard Banana Plug to the speaker cabinet.

Amphenol SP-2-F Loudspeaker Cable Connector 2 Pole Black The 092-0168

Is it that simple?

Or if you have better recommendations please let me know.

Thanks

Jeff

Yes on the amp, not sure on the speakon for the amp outputs since I've never used them, but would expect that since it is speaker level signal that is probably the case.

The Speakon connector should work as well. I recomment soldering the speaker cable to the speakon connector.

I think you've got it all figured out, but if you wanted to go a little fancier you could always add a speakon connector to your subs. This would accomplish nothing more than looking slightly more professional?

I thought about that....I have already bought the other terminal style. But I will check into it. I assume the Speakon jacks are good to make a tight seal with.

It's a really great connector. It not only is a tight seal, it also locks in place (depending on the connector).
