I'm looking for a solution to a hookup issue involving my sons Xbox 360 elite.
I hope this is the right place to post this question.
I installed an HDMI in the wall of my theater so he could connect the Xbox and play his kinect.
The problem is that i need to pass the HDMI video to my projector, and somehow derive the audio signal for my older processor which does not have HDMI inputs.
So is there a converter/ splitter or something that will do this.
I have found HD fury units, and similar, that will give me component out with optical audio from an HDMI input, and i can do this if i have to, but would prefer to pass the HDMI video if i can. These fury units seem to have video shift issues and they are not cheap. I don't want to spend what the 360 is worth, just to convert the signal.
Any ideas ?
