I recently got a call from EB, and they siad that Microsoft had cut the initial distribution ammount in half and that instead of Nov 22 (my b-day is the 27) I would get mine around xmas or past the ball drop. Thanks a gain Todd!!!!

Yeah, that sucks. I really want one, but I wasn't smart enough to get my preorder in on time. So I likely won't get one til next year, either.

I've really been more stoked for a P3, but to be honest, after the Sony rootkit fiasco I'm seriously considering passing on the next gen Playstation, and every other Sony product, too.

I'm going to be a hold out, I remember how quickly the prices dropped after I purchased my xbox. Loool anyone remeber the FZ-1 3DO it bottomed out quickly compared to the 699 I paid. Fustrates me to that its still running strong, and I'm on my second xbox and 2nd cdrom. Plus I no longer mind waiting like I used to. I'd rather just wait for the prices on the console and games to come down. Love picking up titles for 29.99 or less. Would be nice to hear how good the emulation works. I would assume the extra power would offset the drawbacks but not to sure.

what chaps my *** about the backwards compatability is that games which are on both systems, such as madden 06 (which I currently own for xbox), will NOT be made playable on xbox360, because they want you to buy the xbox360 version.
