I got one that was the first release..actually a Jap version but it does everything I need in English. I think it doesnt play Ps1 and ps2 American games though. I have played it maybe 40hrs since I got it..I dont really know why I have it..lol

Yes it does, but I still haven't found backwards compatibility to be of much use. I've had mine since it came out too, and I have played maybe two PS2 games on it the first few months and that was it.

Resulting backup ISO's can be burned to DVD-R's, playable on a number of SACD players out there. It's also possible to get DSD DIFF files which, through a few other means, can be converted to wav/flac for more playback options. More info here and here. Reactions: j_garcia

Click to expand... If it has newer firmware, you cannot install linux - the option was removed. So you need to specify in your request that you are looking for one that has older firmware.
