My first input on this forum. ;-)
Where to buy/how to build?
Can anybody help. I need a diagram or other guidance for building subject.
It might be quite simpel, even though there will be a lot of crossconnections, and possibly it's a question of drawing one connection after another but i would rather rest on something already developped and tested.
In other words it is a tape selector / matrix switch 7 / input-output selector with possibility to select between 3 tape decks (or other unit with record and playback option).
It should be stereo, with input and output for all three devices and input/output in stereo for amplifier.
It should be with dubbing and monitor functions.
It should be possible to i.e. record form tape 1 to tape 2 while listening to tape 3 on the amp.
It should be possible to record from tape 3 to tape 2 while listening til tape 3 or 2.
It should be possible to record from 2 to tape 3 and tape 1 while listening to whatever tapedeck you want.
An Off position on all 3 tapeswitches and on the amp would be a welcome detail.
I can weld, drill, hammer, file, polish, screw (ohnonono) but I can not make a printed circuit board or do wire wrapping.
So it has to based on welded wires switch to switch; socket to switch vice versa or a printed circuit board in trade.
If anyone can recommend high quality switches, wires, sockets or cabinets ti would be super.
It is supposed to function in unbalanced form but if anyone has a balanced solution of such, I think it will be easy for me to "translate" in to unbalanced.
I will be grateful if anybody can help
