WTB: Cheap Receiver

I just need a cheap receiver that has an optical out. I remember someone had an Onkyo TX-SR304 some months ago for $90 or so, but it didn't sell. If that's still available, I would love to buy it!

How cheap is cheap for you? I have a great Pioneer VSX-1016 that has an optical out and a ton of other features for around $225.00 shipped in the U.S.

I'll check. I've got an older Pioneer 5.1 that might have a optical out I'd part with for something around that ($90+shipping). How fussy are you about a remote?

Checked. It's a VSX-D509S, works and looks fine. I've got a Pioneer remote with it that I *think* is the right one (it shows that it's been used (fading) but is fully operational).

Let me know if you want it. There's an optical out.

Alrighty, I went to the eBay HK shop and got myself an AVR-154 for a swell price. Thanks for the recs, though!

Good luck with the HK. I had a horrible experience with one of their all digital recievers (the 2001 or 2005??). Exchanged it at least 4 times, although they were nice enough about it.
