Would an old NAD (3020) be a good upgrade?

I have the opportunity to buy an NAD 3020, made in the early 80s. I've read stellar reviews of this amp.

Would this be a good upgrade from my current Onkyo TX-V940, made around '95?

I will be using this solely for the purpose of listening to music. Using Klipsch B-3s with a Polk sub.

I also have the opportunity to get an NAD 3045 (45 watt output instead of 20), I believe it was made around the same time as the 3020. Does anyone happen to know anything about the 3045? Is it basically the same thing as the 3020, just with 45 watt output instead? The 3045 also has two channels, which is appealing since I'm using a sub.

Or, should I just be happy with what I've got? How do the old NADs compare to Onkyo's made in the 90s?
