Would a corner bass trap be beneficial for me?

Looking for some suggestions if a corner bass trap would help out my situation at all.

The rear port measures 9" away from the wall but it's firing right into that corner wall. I can move the desk out further away from the wall if needed as well.

Here is a design of the room. Not true to scale but close enough. The height of the ceiling is 8ft.

Window above the bed, bookshelf behind the desk. The black area is a closet with sliding doors in between.

I'm just learning about acoustic treatments and this sounded like something I should look into some more especially with that right speaker firing directly into a corner.

Thanks for any help.

I don't know if the corner trap will negate all corner loading. If possible try something like this (minus center and surrounds),

Thanks for the suggestion but not really practical in my case as the desk would block the closet. I have a sliding drawer right where the desk would block off.

I found a company who sells some fairly priced corner traps and was thinking of just trying it out. Wouldn't be too much of a loss if they don't.

Question is where should I apply them in my case. Directly behind the speaker or higher up near the corner?

Thanks.

:) Yeah! Kinda figured, but, I wanted to throw that out as the optimal arrangement from a symmetry perspective.

In the corner behind the speaker and on the right wall's first reflection point (while seated hold a mirror on the wall and find the point where the tweeter reflects). Looks like this will fall partly on the door.
