World's First High Definition IPTV System

<A href="http://www.audioholics.com/news/pressreleases/MatrixstreamsHDIPTV.php"><IMG style="WIDTH: 125px; HEIGHT: 94px" alt=[matrixstreamHDIPTV] hspace=10 src="http://www.audioholics.com/news/thumbs/matrixstreamHDIPTV_th.jpg" align=left border=0></A>MatrixStream Technologies, Inc., will soon be releasing the world’s first H.264 AVC (advance video codec) Video on Demand and IPTV Set Top Box (STB) and PC Player capable of the highest of high definition (HD) signal formats with 1080 vertical pixels by 1920 horizontal pixels. The 1020HD wil be available for trials this month with a consumer edition scheduled for production by the end of the first quarter of 2006. In addition to its STB efforts, MatrixStream will be also launching its IMX1100 PC Player in late January 2006. The PC Player will feature over 300 free channels from around the world and 150 free DVD and HD quality movie clips.

So, what we're looking at in a few years is downloading HDTV to our matchbox sized laser projectors (that you covered last week); for about 10 cents per gig - because content owners finally realize that they can sell it for years, and at that price no one will bother to archive or copy it. Now all we need is the quarter (as in $.25) sized full range speakers.
