Sorry for the delay in writing back, I've been pretty busy that last few days.
The show was nothing major, really just my first taste of working with bands. It was a battle of the bands at my college (whitewater, WI). I haven't worked with anything overly complicated live sound stuff as a tech crew person so far, pretty much only a comedian or a show that requires a mic or a two and to play some music from a CD, so this was quite different. No really big bands, as to be expected, and the crowd sucked (that's what happens when you do things on a Friday at a suitcase college).
As for the show, this went alright. We had a problem with the bass amp, the thing sucked hard core and generated a TON of white noise. Also, the room was acoustically terrible so some notes resonated really badly. Other than that, it was a lot of work but a lot of fun.
