Just get a Y-splitter...lol, just as I typed that, I looked to my left and guess what was there. I don't really know any links to give you to find one but you should be able to go to radio shack or any audio stores and ask for one. They are very common.

There is no audible advantage to using one over the other, I have used both types. That said I too like the ones like in MajorLosers link. They do offer a neater appearance when try to do cable management.

I prefer the solid ones as well. They are just a lot simpler and cleaner.

Ain't no difference

If you buy the one like in the link (there are different brands) the connection is tighter and neater. When you use the one with both connection pointing down it allows the cables to lay smoother and be easier to hide behind hte sub with a gradual bend.

There is absolutely no difference in quality, unless you buy some cheap wye connectors made out of sheet metal (like the RS wyes). They just don't hold well. And considering the device they have to hook on to vibrates........'nough said.

As everyone said, the Y-splitter thing works just fine. I think I bought mine at Radio Shack.

But when I did mine, I got this weird low hum when the subs were hooked up at the same time. If I unhooked one, the hum went away. I guess I was getting some kind of feedback or interference. I couldn't make it go away, until I happened to touch the metal parts of the 2 sub cables together. Voila! No more hum. How weird is that? So I ended up zip tying the cables together to get rid of the hum.

Anyone else ever have this happen?
