Wow we had fun,my wife & I both had our own money so we didnt have to use an ATM,thats a bad way to go at a casino,i took $3,000 & my wife took $1,000 which is alot for her to take.
We started off at the MGM casino,she played video poker & i played some black jack at the $25 table,i won a few hands but lost mostly,i ended up dumping $500 at the table before i called it quits.
The service & staff at MGM are just what you'd expect,top flight.
Went over to Greek Town casino & the wife went straight for the slots & i went back to black jack,the situation there was pretty much the same,she pretty much broke even while i payed the utility bill for the casino that evening,i lost $800 so now im down $1,300.
Greek Town is still in its temporary building & its pretty small but the staff & service are good,not as good as MGM but still very acceptable.
Took off & went over to Motor City & hit the high stakes room,the wife played the $5 slots & i went straight for the $100 black jack table,at one point i was up over $1,000 but ended up loosing another $300 before we decided we were tired of playing,my total loss was $1,600 & the wife was up $65.
On our way out of the high stakes room i stopped at the $25 slots & pumped in a $100 bill,played the first bet single & lost,no suprise there,said to he!! with it & played the next bet 3 lines, $25 a line for a $75 bet,decided to pull the lever instead of pushing the spin button,i hit BAR on all 3 lines,the payout was $1,500
The Service & staff at Motor City on the main gaming floor are just what you'd expect in Detroit,pure crap,the waitresses were all hardened women with ghetto accents & hoochy mama attitudes, as if we were bothering them asking for a drink
,at one point i had to tell a waitress who was giving my wife a hard time to beat it,the staff & service in the high stakes room is a different story though,top flight & even better than at the MGM Grand.
Left the casino's & had a nice crab dinner before heading home,all in all with dinner & tip the evening cost me about $250,i got off cheap
