I want to hook up my DVR recorder threw my satelite tivo can someone help me out doesnt want to work right ...

Yamaha RX-V2500 is the deck....

You have another DVR, besides the Direct TV Tivo?

If that's the case, I'd take composite output from the Tivo to the DVR input. Run the digital output from the Tivo to the 2500

Sorry one is a DVD recorder and one is TIVO you can record to dvd but you have to have audio and video going to it ...

Hi, if it is the same DirecTV Tivo that I have all you need to do is take the second output of the Tivo to the DVD recorder using Analog audio (red/white) and composite video (yellow), with it hooked to the second output you can record live TV or record saved programming.
