Is there a good wiring diagram out there that would explain the setup that was recommended here of a yamaha 2600 with outlaw amps, as well as using hdmi?

You only have to connect the preamp outs of the Yamaha to the respective inputs on the Outlaw amps. For HDMI, it's just one cable from source to receiver, then one cable to the display.
