None of the wireless headphones I've used really have that good of fidelity. And the "surround sound" 'phones I've used all sounded kinda honky. I realize that while it might be cool to have "surround sound" headphones, I think you'd be better served with some nice stereo headphones, and possibly a DSP mode on your source that will emulate surround.
For headphones, I heartily recommend the Sony MDR-7506 or MDR-V6 headphones (not to be confused with the MDR-V600, an inferior but similar product). They should run you about $100, or less.
