Wireless Subwoofer Issue

I recently just bought a sound bar that included a wireless subwoofer. On the first day of using it, everything was working perfectly fine. The next day I was playing around with the remote and I hit the reset button.. According to the manual, the reset button "Resets all settings including the Subwoofer Speaker Output, Front Speaker Output to the factory default setting". As of now, my subwoofer no longer produces any bass but still has power. As I turn on the subwoofer I hear a soft thump so that means that my Subwoofer still works. I tried connecting the subwoofer to the soundbar many times but still the subwoofer won't play, only the souundbar does.

Here is my soundbar and subwoofer: Monoprice Sound System Model MP-CY-C909

P.S I've tried resetting it again and replugging the soundbar and subwoofer. Still the subwoofer doesn't want to play. It even shows that the subwoofer is connected to the soundbar.

Not a soundbar guy myself but have you tried calling Monoprice for help? The manual doesn't have a troubleshooting section?

I can't find that unit listed on the monoprice site. Do you have a link? I suspect this is bad news and the unit has corrupted software.

If the OP has just bought it he should return it. It sounds like a nasty problem unit, like most of those sort of products. That sought of product needs a wide berth.

Didn't try the first time around, and now I can't either, not even a general search came up with anything based on "Monoprice Sound System Model MP-CY-C909" or various parts....and while Monoprice has plenty of soundbars, they're all major brands....

Probably a unit they sold briefly and found they were duds and pulled them from the market.

The OP needs to talk to Monoprice about this as I doubt there is a remedy for his problem.

I have tried to talk to Monoprice about this issue but they said the product stopped being developed a year ago and can't help me with the issue. :/ This kinda sucks. Also the manual doesn't have any troubleshooting guide. All it shows is how to connect the subwoofer to the soundbar.

Here's a picture of the soundbar and subwoofer package.

This sort of junk is to be avoided. Junk purchases are the most expensive you ever make. Learn to avoid it in future.
