Wireless speaker transmitters

Are there any wireless transmitters out there that are separate and allow you to use any amp you want? I have seen the all-in-one units at best buy but I would much rather supply the amp. Is there something that would connect to the preouts on the receiver and send the signal to another box which is then hooked up to an amp?

There sure are. Check out this thread that I started a while back for two such systems. I never tried either one. The one at Amazon (that dropped sharply in price from $180 to about $95, but they are currently out of stock) uses 2.4GHz, and some people have complained that it messes with their wireless networks.
