I've asked this before, but can't find the thread. I'm looking for a way to make my M-I-L's surrounds wireless. She doesn't like the wires running across her living room.
Looking for something affordable. Would consider new speakers but hers are perfectly good.
If there is such a 'module' I would prefer that it could be plugged in instead run on batteries. Also, easy set up is very important since she will be doing it herself.

&

Does anyone know of anyone in the Orlando area that could help her get her system hooked up? Someone reliable, and trust worthy that you would trust with a family member. Not looking for someone to do it for free, but reasonable.

*For you degenerate types, I said M-I-L (mother in law), not MILF... :D

Thanks!

Barry

*The Alex clause. :p

Thanks J! It looks like the Outlaw modules are more for powered speakers. But the Aperion stuff looks good. In fact, Zhimbo has a speaker system for sale that would work and has been kind enough to answer my questions.

The receiver is a Pioneer VSX 411 (?) so it's pre HDMI.

Hi, Barry. Your previous thread on this topic is linked here, and my post there has my knowledge on the topic without me searching around the internet more.

THANKS Adam! Man, I'm embarrassed I didn't thank those posts at that time. I'll check those options out as well.

Affordable and easy setup are subjective, but there is the Amphony 1550, 1600 and 1540. I have the 1540 on a fireplace mantle, but it runs a wire between the two rears, which you can hide on top of a mantle. Sounds like you'd want the 1550 or 1600, which has an amp at each speaker and no wires between speakers.

Polk makes the wireless F/X speaker. This sounds like the easiest one, but it's only one speaker.

Rocketfish makes a rear speaker wireless kit that works like the Amphony 1540 (wires run between the rears).
