Last night the skiing big air was insane, TJ Schiller's 1620 blew my mind

I watched some of the snowmobile jumping and skiing big air last night. Yeah those guys are crazy.

Yeah, last night was just insane. I was not expecting nearly as insane of stuff that we got to see

Bummed I missed it and last night it was delayed due to a basketball game going into OT.

I think the skiers are outdoing the snowboarders now. I just cannot imagine landing backwards after a 100ft jump.

I would have to agree, though there is some biases because I am a skier, but w/e

Lets just compare the big air. The tricks that got perfect scores in skiing were a switch double-cork 1440 and a 1620. For snowboarding they were a frontside double-cork 1080 and a backside double-cork 1260. And in all honesty, it's not landing backwards that is that insane, it's taking off backwards

I've been watching most of the afternoon today. Gotta say- the toughest athletes out there are the mono-skiers. Those guys are totally fearless, and trying to keep your balance on one ski (off of some of those bumps/jumps) is insane. More power to them...
