You might think about spending more to get a "real" sub. I had a Velo vx-10, which is about if not the same sub and it just didn't do the job, especially for HT. Other than that everything looks good. There are a ton of different speakers out there, you just need to find the "sound" that appeals to you. That could be "bright", "neutral", or "laid back". Everybody has their own opinions on what sound they prefer and their own opinions on what speakers they like. You just need to find what you like.(Yes it can be a long process). Good luck and have fun.

I am selling a home theater system that you may be interested in.

Yamaha 5660 reciever 125 watts a channel

Paradigm CC 370 Center

Paradigm Legends Floorstandig speakers for fronts

SVS Pc Plus 25-31 Subwoofer

$1,200 before shipping or gas to meet you half way.

I also have another pair of Paradigm legends for rears but that would be an extra $500.

Total cost of the reciever, fronts, center, and sub new were around $3,000

Just thought I would throw that out there.

I've listened to the Infinity Primus P362 and they're good speakers for the money. My only concern is that some have reported that they dip down to a 4ohm load at some frequencies. I don't know that first hand so I can't say for sure.

I've owned Boston Acoustics VR3s and they rock! I loved them. With the VX3's sensitivity rating of 93db they are super easy to drive and just based on the 508's specs it should have no problem driving them. Onkyo makes good receivers but I've never laid hands on the 508.

I've never heard the VX-11 but I used to own a VX-10. They sound pretty good in a really small room. Something like a really small bedroom. You have at least 2300cuft and that's a bit much for a sub that small. Some here like the Dayton SUB-120 for small rooms but that's a big enough room that I'd save a bit longer. The Bostons play deep enough that you can get by without a sub for a month or two while you save a couple of hundred more.

I'm using an old $300 Pioneer 90WPC receiver with the P362 and have absolutely no issues whatsoever.

My CLR3000 goes down to 2.3 ohms and my BP7000SC goes down to 2.7 ohms, and at one time I was using a Harman kardon 50WPC receiver with these speakers without any kind of issues.

which sub would you recomend me looking at if $200-$300 won't do the job. I don't know enough about the brands to know what good or not. I heard that veloydine are good subs. I was told that I should go with a 10'' around 150 watt.

What about the VELODYNE IMPACT10 IMPACT 10" 250w.

You'll get your best bang for the buck going with an internet direct manufacturer. I would contact SVSounds (SVS) and Elemental Designs (eD) and Epik and have them size you a subwoofer to fit your room. Note that eD builds to order and sometimes has lead times of several weeks. I would pick something that extends down all the way to 20hz or lower.

When I first bought my 360's, there was an article on them in Stereophile magazine. It was June or July of 2005 or 2006? It showed several charts from measurements they had made.
Here it is http://stereophile.com/floorloudspeakers/605infinity/
Measurments are available through a link at the bottom of the page.
