Will my Harman/Kardon AVR171 be good enough for Klipsch RP-280F?

So I have a Harman/Kardon AVR171 reciever that I used for my old JBL Balboa surround system. I have sold the Balboa speakers, and am instead interested in buying a 2 speaker setup that is more great at playing music for house parties. I am currently looking at Klipsch RP-280F as these seem to be concidered amazing value and great soundstage from what I read. Feel free to comment on these speakers if you disagree.

What I am wondering is, can I keep my current AVR171 and use these for Klipsch RP-280F? Or should I sell my AVR171 and buy something more fitting?

Your HK receiver will be very good for the Klipsch speakers, so don't worry there. If it were me, I would skip the Klipsch towers and get a bookshelf speaker/ subwoofer system.

Or maybe something like Behringer B215XL speakers and a sub with the house party thing in mind, plus they're very easy to drive as they're high sensitivity (don't be fooled by the wattage spec).
