Just wondering if you think I'll benefit from upgrading to an hdmi avr.
My usage:
1. Music via spotify/turntable (vinyl records)
2. Netflix/amazon prime 5.1 DD content via spdif.
3. Regular cable TV (2ch)
My setup:
avr: yamaha rx-v 15000.
fronts: tannoy sturn s6. center: tannoy saturn s8c. surr: B&W lm1. sub: svs pb1000.
I have no intention of going beyond a 5.1 setup.
Saw a couple of avrs on 2nd hand market - yamaha rxa 2020, onkyo TX-NR 809.
Will I benefit anything? sonically?
I would be glad to hear your opinions
