Will bose 501s work on an onkyo tx-sr706 or yamaha rx-v2065

I was wandering if the bose 501s will work with either of my receivers.
I need to know how to hook up the equalizer to the amp. I have the cables already. thanks!

Maybe my memory is going, but I don't recall the Bose 501 speakers requiring an equalizer.

If they do, you would connect it through the "tape monitor" jacks on the back and press the "tape monitor" switch on the front of the receiver, assuming it has one. If it doesn't, you can't connect an equalizer.
