I saw a publication, suggesting to pair a NAD C372 A/V with PSB speakers. But, after reading soom of the threads on this forum, no one speacks of either.

Are any worth my time?

Sound quality is very subjective so auditioning speakers is the only way to know if the above combination is pleasing to you. NAD and PBS both make a good product. I happen to believe that the receiver has little to do with sound you hear in your living room. To me speaker choice and room acoustics account for 95% of the end result so if it were me I would not get that hung up on matching speakers to specific receivers.

Nothing wrong with that pairing at all...NAD always made good stout amplifiers that exceed their rated specs. You won't find power output rated with only 1KHz test tones, they rate their amps across the audio band. They're a lot more honest than the mainline mid-fi manufacturers...their gear is usually very user-friendly too. Buy the system and enjoy. :)

Speaking for the site - we dont see anything wrong with those brands - we just haven't put anything by them up for review yet so we can't talk much about them.

Of course both PSB and NAD are owned by the same parent company, Its a conspiracy!

Both very good brands. Paul (and Sue) Barton > PSB have made excellent products for many years. NAD was originally started many, many years ago by Peter Tribeman who now heads up Atlantic Technology. NAD has changed hands several times over the years and their products continue to offer high value per dollar. There are, however, other brands more cost competitive which might be considered to offer better value at any given price point. Choose your price point, figure the features that are important to you and then determine who has the easiest to operate remote. The remote is your everyday interface with any receiver. Choose wisely.

I've heard PSB Image t65 played through a NAD T773 using a NAD cdplayer I believe it was and I was absolutely floored with both the openness and soundstage. NAD had suffered from quality problems a few years backaccording to the dealer that I visit regularily. He steered me away from NAD and recommended Yamaha instead. Thiswas 3-4 years ago. Since then NAD has cleaned up on its quality issues and he now recommends them. He says sonically, the NAD is a better a product then Yamaha or Denon but its not as feature rich as either. Thats the trade off when going with NAD..better sound..less features. As far as PSB speakers go, I'm of the opinion that PSB image series is the best choice of speaker in that price bracket. I've heard Axioms and Paradigms monitor series and find myself always coming back to PSB.

I have the NAD 370. The remote is crappy. Other than that, it's all good. :D

I agree with 3db - i auditioned a T45 powered by a cambridge
audio integrated amp & a CA CD player, & was blown away at
how good it sounded, esp with the depth of music i heard.

i just bought a NAD T763 and some NHT M5's (NAD & NHT are
another combo that seems to really fit each other), but i
haven't set it up - i dont have the M5's yet.

my local PSB dealer (aslo where i got the NAD from) doesn't
have the T55 or T65 in yet, but i'm halfway thinking of
taking them home when they do come in & testing them
against the NHT's - it all depends on how happy i am with
the M5's (they don't go that low, so i'm getting a REL Q108E
subwoofer to handle the low end).

in short - i think NAD/PSB is a great combo, you get alot
of music for not alot of $$$ (esp. if you are more interested
in quality of music vs bells & whistles on your gear).
