Hello from England , can anybody help me out ? I know that If I buy a AV receiver from the USA , I will have to convert the voltage with a substantial transformer from 220v to 110v . My question is about the video swiching in the amp , will it work with our Pal system ? I have a multi system projector and dvd which plays discs from the USA perfectly , however my TV and VCR are Pal , everything is connected through my av receiver , would there be a problem here ?
In the UK home theater equipment is a lot more expensive , for example I have seen an onkyo 901 for about $1200 in the USA , in England its £1500 =$2700 , I hope somebody out there can help , thanks , Geordie
