Wi-Fi keeps dropping off.

I just bought an Onkyo TX-NR-737 to replace my 15 year old Onkyo and I'm in over my
head.lol.I have it connected to my modum for Internet (Tune-in) and its keeps dropping
off and it doesn't always come back.I don't have it connected by HDMI cable but by USB.
I can't connect directly to my Pc as it doesn't have the port for HDMI.Any help would be
greatly appreciated.Thanks

Please clarify the problem. Wi Fi is wireless. If you have the modem connected to the receiver via a cable of some kind, you can’t have a Wi Fi issue.
