Why doesn't Denon provide DenonLink on everything?

It seems Denon could sell a lot more disk players if all their equipment had a DenonLink.

Is it really that cost prohibitive to include on all their receivers and players?

The whole Denon link system is annoying. I much prefer iLink, works with everything, and it didnt have to go through like 4 versions in order to have full support of DVD-A and SACD.
