Why can't I play Dolby Atmos audio while playing a 3D Blu Ray from my PS3?

I have my PS3 connected to my Denon x3300w. While playing Transformers-Age of Extinction 3D Blu Ray on PS3 the video is fine but the AVR shows M In DD S or DD S; i. e. No Atmos. Whereas when, on the same PS3, I play a non-3D, Dolby Atmos movie Blu Ray the AVR display reads D Atmos i. e. Atmos works fine. So my question, as the heading says, Why can't I get 3D Video and Dolby Atmos audio simultaneously from my PS3?

Probably same reason I can't use 7.1 Dolby True HD at the same time as 3D with my PS3 (slim version), just doesn't have the processing needed.

As far as It's know, it is because of the HDMI version PS3 handles, it does not have enough bandwidth to send the audio and video for 3D and surround

Only the older fat models don't support HD audio aside from PCM. Mine is one of those.

Well at first the PS3 slim needed an update to handle the lossless codecs, which mine did/does, it just won't do 3D and Dolby TrueHD simultaneously; it will do DTS HDMA and 3D simultaneously, tho. No problem for TrueHD with no 3D.
