why are my turntables so quite?

Technic MK2s, plugged into phono- but have to max gain and faders in order to hear it. Could it be that it's an older recording?

What kind of cartridge are you using? When did this start happening?

You need a phono preamp. If the mixer has a switch for that, make sure it's in the correct position.

It sounds tinny, with no bass, right? If that's how it sounds, you definitely need this.

sweeeeet- yes, just had to switch the phono pre-amp feature on.
