Why are all the Epik subs out of stock except for the huge 18" Conquest?

The AVS forum Epik thread indicates that they are having trouble getting parts, and it doesn't take to much too figure that the crappy economy is probably playing a big part.

However, it seems like a bad idea to order from them at present unless you want to wait a while.

Maybe they buy from the same people that AV123 buys from, a lot of their speakers are out of stock, but that might just be normal for AV123 .

AV123 builds with their partners in batches, if they go fast, the manufacturing window widens. Epik builds to order. I think they buy from suppliers a projected 6 mos. out. If they burn through inventory and their suppliers can't fill the supply chain, then it's treading water time.
