I just read that there is a new sports writers list out for most intimidating venues to play college football. Bah to you Buckeye Boys. Your little horseshoe rates #6. Who's #1?

Why it's my homies at the University or Oregon. Autzen Stadium whips 'em all, Michigan, Florida, Ohio State...etc. :p

And by and by, Buckeye Boys, the Ducks are gonna give you and SC a run at #1 on the field, too. :D

Man, I'm all a-quiver (not a good sight for a man my age  )...it's ALMOST college football season!! :)

It looks like you boys have a cute little stadium there, and you should be proud of it. What do you guys average?? About 40,000 in weekly attendance? That's pretty much typical for the Pac10, right?
What do you mean... "whips Ohio state"? Are you aware that Oregons lifetime record against Ohio state is 0-7?

I agree, the Ducks are a mighty impressive football program. After all, they have a grand total of 1 January bowl victories(2002 Fiesta) since 1930. (not to mention the 'donut-7' record verses the mighty buckeyes) Pretty impressive indeed:cool:

It doesnt say much for the pac10 when a 10-1 Oregon loses to a 7-4 Big12 team in last years Holiday, or when a 10-1 Cal loses to a 7-4 Texas Tech in the Holiday in the previous year. Im afraid that if Oregon brought it's 10-1 squad east to play with the "Big Boys" on a regular basis, they'd do well to become bowl elligible. I guess those who make the bowl pairings know what they're doing when they continually match 1 loss Pac10 teams with 4 loss Big12 teams to play in the holiday bowl. At least that way, they get a competitive bowl game and all the sponsors are happy. I guess it makes sense why 1 loss Pac10 teams continually get 'stepped over' by the BCS when they make their selections.

Let the smack talk begin:)

Well, there's that east coast bias I've heard about. ;)

1. We had just lost our top qb to a broken leg before the Okie game.
2. I think you've confused that loser-team OSU (lol...Oregon State) with Oregon. Where'd you get 0-7?!
3. Out west, we actually have other things to do during winter. Besides, 40,000 turnout in a town of 20,000 is purty good.
4. Too bad about Maurice Clarett, lol. Got busted yesterday, did he? Armed to the teeth ready to shoot up other Buckeyes? WOW. And I guess your tight end...what's his name... Marcel Frost, is following closely in MC's footsteps. See...all that snow and ice are bad for the brain. :D
5. PAC10 weenies? Whoa...USC might have something to say about that. How'd the Bucks do against Texas? Hmmm? (Shoot, OSU has been struggling against my alma mater, San Diego State.)
6. We took care of Michigan for ya two years ago. I think OSU lost to 'em the same year. Oops.

Enuf smack fer ya? LOL. (All in good humor.)

Oh, hey, I forgot.

Buckeye Nut...congrats on the College World Series. I see OSU was as tough as nails and pulled out a courageous championship.

Oh, wait. Oops, sorry. That was another OSU...some little team from Oregon. ;)

I say you are all crazy...GO CLEMSON TIGERS!!!!! We'll see what they are made of pretty quick with games two and three being at BC and FSU. Two victories there, and you better look out. The QB position should be intresting for us this year with Whitehurst gone. Twenty two days to go before the opener. Can't wait.

LOL... I think not. Historical CFB information is one thing I am not short on.

9/19/1987 Ohio State vs Oregon W 24 14
9/10/1983 vs. Oregon W 31 6
10/5/1968 vs. Oregon W 21 6
10/7/1967 vs. Oregon W 30 0
11/17/1962 vs. Oregon W 26 7
11/18/1961 vs. Oregon W 22 12
1/1/1958 vs. Oregon W 10 7 Rose Bowl

Just in case you're wondering......
9/8/1984 vs. Oregon State W 22 14
9/21/1974 vs. Oregon State W 51 10

Your entire state is batting ZERO against the mighty Buckeyes:eek:

Sometimes I HATE the truth! LOL. :p

But it's ancient history. But we'll see what we'll see come the end of the season. Whatcha gonna do without that fancy Hawk and no tight end and Clarett in prison for life? (I know, I know. Not on the team. But I had to throw it out there.)

Mo's services have not been required for 4 years now. The Bucks are stocked on offense, and they'll be tough to slow down. They'll also be scary on special teams with Teddy Ginn returning kicks and punts.(not to mention him as a receiver) The offensive woes of the early 2000s are an ancient history. This team will score lots of points, and they'll be able to do it in the air or running. We also have a stud true-freshman tailback who will push our returning 1300yd rusher from last season for PT. Both TBs will play on Sundays before too long barring injuries.

The defense will be stout.........as usual. The buckeye D is brutal every year, and they're used to losing NFL talent and reloading.

I do have to admit, those three were nasty.......LOL All three starting LBs from last season will be suiting up on sundays this fall. (Carpenter 1st round, Hawk 1st round, Schlegel 3rd round) They will be missed, but there wont be shortage of talent at that position.
