Help, I used Surr/back pre outs to VDP. Speaker wire to appropriate Hi/Lo Freq posts. Sounded great, but when I adjusted for low Frequency with Zone 3 Volume to around 2 or 3 db (master volume was at -20db), i got a very loud hum and lost my low frequency speaker drivers.
i thought I blew them, but when I removed a speaker from the cabinet and checked it directly with the main speaker wire (High freq) it worked,
they do not from the surr/back (low freq) speaker wire.
When I assign zone2 to the pre amp and source the Tuner it I get sound from surr/back speaker wires, not from zone 3!
Did I lose the Zone 3 ?
Any ideas on what happened?
