Okay guys, I took the advice of one person here, and got a few quotes from integrators. I have a question about whole house audio. I have 10 rooms I want to do. I need volume controls at least. One guy wants to do a russound MK401, and another guy says just use a receiver, and put a volume control on it. I don't really know which one to go with. Ideas?

There are a lot more questions than that. Do you want to run all 10 zones at one time? How many sources are you going to have. You should go with a stable amplifier with at least 5 zones, and run 2 zones off each channel. Something with at least 50 rms per channel, and 2/4 ohm stable.

Sherbourn Newcastle, Nuvo, Niles, etc all offer products you should be looking into. If you need more help, let me know, and I'll help you out. Todd.
