New here guys so sorry if I'm asking things that may be simple to others. I'm am remodeling my house and have opened up alot of walls and ceiling so I figured why not go ahead and do a whole house audio system . I am also finishing the basement into a home theater. I am a handy guy and can run all the wiring and but am not knowledgeable enough to design and layout the system. So, I wanted advice on where I can get it done and any advise on doing it. Any things to do or not do. I'd like rooms to be independently controlled.

Thanks in advance !

You'd do well to post some sort of schematic of your HT room. Be sure to include measurements!

Yes, that would be most helpful. Dimensions should include (WHD) so we can calculate the cubic square feet of your theater room.

Also, please include seating as well. It can be hand-drawn so no worries there.

Seriously, I have no life.
Welcome to AH. :)

When you ask about whole house as an intecom or whole house audio only?
May need to specify number of rooms/spaces you want speakers in. Also, is that for background music or something else?
