Yep, it will be crushed but not by me Mine is about 100+

Dumb question time:

What about a movie that has a second disc of special features -- for the purposes of this count, is that one or two DVDs? Like, should LOTR extended be counted as one, two or four DVDs? What about TV on DVD -- anywhere from two to six discs in a set, after all . . .

Titles? Well I have 300+ then. But many are multiple discs/episodes like dave chappell or family guy.

I've got 226 movie titles, 31 seasons of TV shows, and 18 music DVDs (not including DVD-As), making for a total of 275. Looks like I've been crushed!

I have a little over 100 but I was an early NetFlix customer from 1999 and have rented close to 1,000. My movie watching goes way up in the summer time when not much is on TV but drops significantly as soon as football season starts.

Yeah when Doug started this thread I really did not know how many I had, so I just threw in the #1300. But since I started cataloging most of them its about 1600. Anyhow here is the cataloging thread.

My DVD collection is very small. I have about 13 DVDs and 10 of those are music/concert DVDs. I guess I'm in the minority there - don't really care to collect movies.

Music however is much different. I currently have 520 CDs and 5,000+ MP3 that were ripped from those CDs.

Ok sorry about not being specific my count has 1 per Movie (I.E. LOTR extened movies are 1 each) 1 Per TV Show. I only have Chappele season 2 but it counts as one. If anyone is confused or interested I have the whole list including Title Aspect Ratio DD suppot DTS support and THX support in a Excel spread sheet. Just PM

P.S. I noticed that I did count the bonus feature disk from the Indiana Jone box set as one but it is like 2 hours long as well as The Matrix revisited so mabey I have 164 or 165

Music, I have 2138 tracks, none of which were ripped from a cd I've owned or borrowed. They are all downloaded one at a time and if I have a complete album, it is on accident.

Ive got a bunch. I will never listen to 90% of them but it comes in handy when you are searching for that one song.

Ive got about 350 DVD's...and counting...

Music on the other hand... weeelll... It's to the point now where I just say It's a lot. I've got a file server in my closet with 4x 120GB Drives on a RAID5 holding it. Not full, of course... but one day

Actually, I DJ'd through college and have been collecting since about 85'. I stopped buying a little bit ago. but have a collection at least 5000 cd's. I always hated going through them to find a specific disc. My brothers and I combined all of our collections to a drive and here we are. It took quite some time...looking back i'd say quite a waste of time. I really dont listen to them. And Im too afraid of getting viruses to download off any p2p sites. My computer is much too valuable to risk any hassles off a song or two!
