Im looking at amps for a pair of Paradigm Reference 60's and have narrowed it down to a solid state AB amp w/ around 150-200W power. Bass performance is very important to me since it will be used solely for hiphop. (No HT use!)

So far this is the amp at the top of my list;

Ive found lots of websites that review audio parts but im not sure which are the most legitamit. Could someone who knows what thier talking about tell me which website/magz are best? (unbiased)

Or if someone thinks they know of an amp w/ around the same specs that will out perform this amp then feel free to post it....Thanks

You can't go wrong with a Bryston/Paradigm marriage. It would be difficult to find a better amp for the $$$. Get one used. They carry a 700 year warranty.

As audioseer stated, TAC is reliable but not as wide range of components. However, they did publish a report recently on the Behringer A500 that was also discussed on the amp board here. If you bridge it, you should have more power than you will even need and for $180 per channel, hard to beat.
Nothing wrong with Bryston, by the way.

how to contact "The Audio Critic"

does anyone know how to contact anyboby at "The Audio Critic"? i joined for 12.95 only to find out they have minimal articles/info on their site and you have to pay an extra $30 or so to get back issues of unknown quality. what a GD rip off. if i can't contact anyone at TAC, i will put the charge into dispute with my card company.

Audio Advisor and Wild West offer a 30 day money back guaranty, minus shipping cost, on the products they sell. They both have Adcom, and they both cary overpriced brands as well.:eek:

Don't get me wrong. I love Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati. But, a Vette will do just fine.:)
