I just received the latest CNET email magazine and I'm wondering how these really sound. Any chance of a review of these getting done?

In the review the designer says that the aged oak helped the speakers to produce "a mature mellow tone."

Aged 18 years anyone?

I don't know what to make of it. I personally haven't ever heard a Pioneer non-car audio speaker that I really liked. Same goes for most other Japanese stereo manufacturers. Who knows, it might help. $600 for the pair isn't that bad a price.
