Which Yamaha to Buy? RX-V357 or RX-V359

Hi Guys

I was weighing up the idea of getting a Yamaha or Sony entry level receiver, and I've decided to go with the Yamaha. I've narrowed it down to 2, the RX-V359 and the RX-V357. The V359 is the replacement for the V357 and is €40 (£30) more on Pixmania.

Can anyone tell me if there is much of a difference between the 2 of these?
And is the newer version worth the extra few quid?

Cheers

Thanks Mike C

I've compared these a bit myself, but the only difference i can see is the V359 has more component inputs. I'm not up to speed with the technical specs of AV Reveivers so I'm still not sure about any other issues or differences.

Would there be much of a difference in in sound quality?
Are there any new features on the V359 that are worth the extra money?

Cheers

I don't think there's a big difference in sound quality, since the yammy page didn't mention replacing the DAC from the 7 series to the 9 series.

unless you need those extra component inputs now or in the future, the 7 will be pretty much the same as the 9.
