Which Surround Sound System is Better?

Hi,

I'm a newbie to performance sound/video systems. I'm thinking of either buying:

1) Yamaha NSPC210PB & YSTFSW100PB - 5.1 speaker system Bundle including subwoofer 6ohm

or

2) Paradigm CT 110 5.1 system 8ohm

Which is better? FYI I plan to hook up the speakers with:

• Panasonic 42G10 Plasma
• Pioneer VSX 1019 8 to 6ohm
• Sony Playstation 3

I'd not jump with joy on ether of systems you chose and before giving any rec, we'd need to know whole picture.
Whats the room measurements you intend to use the system in, is it open to other room, what's your budget? Are limited to certain designs due to WAF ?

Room Size

Thanks for reply. The room isnt that big actually. The living is 15 x 20. With a fireplace almost in the middle which breaks up the room somewhat. Its open plan and leads out to the kitchen which is 12 x 12. This is the ground floor with all other rooms upstairs.

Right now I have a small am/fm radio. So I think that either of these systems will be an improvement.

Thanks for comments. I do think that I'll go for the Paradigm (once the colour is ok). Btw, yes I am in Europe. Why do you ask?
