Hi Guys, Am in the process of putting together an in-wall / on-wall speaker package for a mate of mine and need some constructive feeback on the choices below. The existing equipment to power the speakers is a Denon 3805. 1st Package Martin Logan Passage (Front LCR) http://www.martinlogan.com/passage_speaker.html Vignettes (all 4 surrounds) http://www.martinlogan.com/vignette_speaker.html 2nd Package Sonance http://www.sonance.com/subs/products.php?category_id=7&option=get_category&thread_one_cat_id=1&thread_one_cat_name=Speakers&thread_two_cat_id=2&thread_two_cat_name=In-wall Cinema Ultra II LCR (200 watts) (LCR) Cinema Ultra II SUR (200 watts) (all 4 surrounds) Now, the difference we have been quoted is less than a grand with the more expensive being the Martin Logans. Also to consider that my mate would probably only use this room once or twice a week and ONLY for DVD movie playback. he is not at all interested in the music side and if he did play music back it is not that important a goal. System will be setup in a dedicated room in the downstairs of the house. dimensions are 7.210 x 5.680 metres. If anyone has also sat down and listened to any of these systems, your feedback would also be of benefit.
