Thanks Zieglj01.
I have to save money first if I decided to go with Denon though….So if you have any other suggestion than Denon AVR X5200W, please let me know.
The so called 4 ohm certified thing is some sort of a misnomer. It typically (there are always exceptions) means the manufacturer can claim the product can be used with 4 ohms rated speakers as long as you select the 4 ohm setting either in the form of a selector switch or via software. When set to 4 ohms, the unit will probably just limit the current, in most cases it could actually get you much less power output than if you leave it at the 8 ohm setting.
For more information, please read Gene's review on the AVR-X5200W. For real world music or movie enjoyment, the Denon X5200W, X-4000, 4520, Onky 838 and above, Yamaha 1040 and above, Marantz SR6009 and above should be able to drive you speakers to SPL that can cause you hearing loss if you are not careful. That's base on you sitting only 8 ft from the center speaker and assuming your room is small to medium size (by THX standard).
If you really need the latest features, saving up for the X5200W is a wise thing to do and if you can wait a year, you will likely be able to get one for under $1,000. While waiting, try to engage your subwoofer even when listening to symphonies and set the Q900 to small and crossover at 80 Hz. If you don't want to wait, then try shop for the lowest price for a new 4311, 4520, X4000, or the SR-6008, 7007. Or you can try out the equivalent Yamaha models too, depending on the geometry and acoustic environment of your room, you may not benefit much from Audssey and Yamaha does have their own room EQ system (YPAO).
