My 580s are 300 ohms, which is a fairly high impedance. Low power units (like laptops and MP3 players) sometimes struggle mightly with them.
You might be better off with Grados, which are around 30 ohms, but even then, the more power the better.
Personally, w/o an good amp, I feel either of these are overkill and you won't realize their true worths.
P.S.. the 595s are 50 ohms so it might not be too bad.
